Residents must note that the speed limitation is 40 km/hr. as a measure to protect our cyclists and children using the roads to walk about and to prevent our wild animals from being killed when they cross roads.
Our speed monitoring equipment are capturing the data for reference purposes and repeat transgressors will be personally contacted to address such behavior.
Speeds of up to 65 km/hr. was monitored in some cases and we want to appeal to all residents/tenants and their visitors to co operate for the safety of all. The question that needs to be answered is why buy into an Eco Estate when knowing about the risks wild animals pose versus the want to continually fulfill the urge of a speed adrenalin junkie.
