The wire on the perimeter fence lines were replaced as the current fence wire has come to the end of its lifespan resulting in lower voltages. An additional energizer was added, and new fence line was rezoned.
Infra-red lights are installed on the perimeter fences and on traffic circles to enhance the quality of images, improve visibility to control room operators and ensure proper video footage where needed for prosecution or corrective actions during incidents or transgressions.
Sleeves were installed on major routes to allow electronic speed warning/ monitoring devices to be moved around to improve awareness of exceeding our speed protocols and the associated risks to our animals. Several animals were euthanized for serious injuries after being hit by vehicles on the estate roads.
