Out and about in Nature – Nocturnal and hibernating creature

With winters chilly evenings and cool days, our hibernating species are less prone to be moving around due to the lack of heat. All the hibernating species found on the estate include the South African Hedgehog, Tortoises, Snakes, Scorpions and Spiders.

Please be careful when doing gardens as these hibernating species will have found a cozy spot in gardens where little disturbances are.

If any of these wonderful animals finds itself in your house, garden or property, please contact the Environmental manager Odette on 082 462 9518 for assistance.
